Antenna II, 2020

Antenna II is an artifact I used to ignite a research into what it means to be in disconnect with one you hold dear. The disconnected antenna is something that keeps coming back into my work. With antenna II it is now stowed away in a package that looks like an excavation site. I still held hope to get into touch -to receive a signal- deep down somewhere, but the reality was showing me something else. A contemplation of loss and incapacity.
