First Move (again), 2021-2022

This project started in the period I was graduating from the Willem de Kooning Academy. I wanted to blend the personal (having to move frequent in this period myself) with the public dilemma (where to come together and share ideas in times of a pandemic). Therefor I initiated a project where my fellow graduating peers could add a piece of their work to a collective transport box that I would showcase in different spaces. The project was a meditation on a proces in which the same things together would form a new image. In this gallery you see the gradual transformation of a project that unfolded over a timespan of a year.
